Meet Mark Engman, volunteer President and the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator, with the Nokesville Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Prince William County, VA. Nokesville Vol. Fire and Rescue organization provides fire protection and emergency services to the largest geographical area of Prince WIlliam County from two stations, Station 5 and Station 25. Mark has been a volunteer with Nokesville since 2010 and currently serves on the Prince Wiliam County Recruitment and Retention Committee, as well as several other committees. Meet Zachary Hottel, volunteer Lieutenant and the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator, with the Woodstock Fire Department, which is a 100% volunteer organization providing fire protection and emergency services to the Town of Woodstock and Shenandoah County. Zach has been a volunteer with WFD for 14 years and currently serve on both the Shenandoah County Recruitment and Retention Committee and the Executive Committee for the VA Fire & EMS Recruitment and Retention Network, as well as several other operational committees. Meet Spencer Cheatham from West Point Fire Department.
Bobby Hill is the Recruitment Coordinator for the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad Foundation. He has over 48 years experience as a Virginia Beach EMS volunteer and remains on active duty with the Virginia Beach EMS Major Incident Response Team. His medical training runs the scale from first responder to nationally registered paramedic. He has held numerous EMS operational and administrative officer positions; including EMS duty chief, rescue deputy chief, squad truck supervisor, recruiting officer and public relations officer. In early 2009 he retired as Chief Magistrate after serving 39 years in the Virginia Judicial System. In late 2009 he was hired by the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad Foundation as their first Recruitment Coordinator with a mission to recruit new volunteers for the 10 Volunteer Rescue Squads of Virginia Beach.
